These terms apply to your use of the SERENE Home-Based Caregivers & Nurses (“Serene”) website at serenecare.co.za, operated by SERENE HOMEBASED CAREGIVERS AND NURSES (PTY) LTD (registration number 2026/839126/07). By using the website you agree to them. Care services themselves are provided under a separate written agreement with each client.

1. Information on this website

The website gives general information about our services. It is not medical advice and does not replace advice from a doctor or other health professional. We try to keep the information accurate and up to date, but services, availability and arrangements may change.

2. Emergencies

Our website forms, phone line and WhatsApp are not emergency services. In a medical emergency, call an ambulance on 10177, or 112 from a mobile phone, or go to your nearest emergency unit.

3. Enquiries and quotes

Sending an enquiry does not create an agreement or guarantee that care is available. A quote is an estimate based on the information you give us. Care starts only once we have agreed the arrangement with you in writing.

4. Your use of the website

Please give accurate information in our forms, share another person’s information only if you are entitled to, and do not misuse the website (for example by sending spam or trying to gain unauthorised access).

5. Privacy

We handle personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Intellectual property

The website content, the Serene name and the Serene crest belong to Serene and may not be copied or used without our written permission.

7. Links to other websites

Links to other websites (for example WhatsApp or the Information Regulator) are for convenience. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

To the extent the law allows, Serene is not liable for loss arising from the use of this website or reliance on its general information. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act or other law that cannot be limited.
